Gala - Los Angeles
On February 4, 2016, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Association with The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, The Brisbane Festival and Maria Shriver hosted a gala benefiting arts education for the young people of America. The evening featured a performance of FREEZE FRAME... Stop the Madness, along with the Architects of Change Conversation, a panel discussion led by Maria Shriver and Debbie Allen, on the state of violence in America.
The evening’s performance starred Matthew Johnson, Vivian Nixon, Dion Watson, Terry Beeman, Eartha Robinson, William Wingfield, Dion Gipson, Ryan Phuong, Clinton Derricks and Debbie Allen. The evening was applauded by a star-studded audience all whom were there to support arts education and the effort to reframe the conversation around violence in America.
